Tim Lowenstein visits the Dead Sea observatory

Prof. Tim Lowenstein from the department of geological sciences at Binghamton university, evaporite sedimentology expert, visited the Dead Sea observatory as part of a unique scientific collaboration. The aim of this collaboration is to use the new findings regarding halite deposition from the Dead Sea in the study of ancient deposits throughout the geological record done by Tim's research group.
