Following a joint research with Prof. Eckart Meiburg's team, AGU press published an article regarding halite precipitation in the Dead Sea. The research focuses on numerical simulations of double diffusion salt fingering flux as was observed in-situ in the Dead Sea. This physical mechanism has many implications for halite deposition in hypersaline waterbodies.
